In-House Training Program

Training Program Summary

SGFPD is approved by the State Fire Marshall's office to train personnel in-house in the following categories:

* Fire Fighter II (FFII)

* Fire Fighter III (FFIII)

* Fire Apparatus Engineer (FAE)

* Hazardous Material Operations

* Technical Rescue

* Fire Service Vehicle Operator

This allows us to enter a cost savings to the district over sending people to the college to be trained.

We utilize the SMOKE HOUSE BUILDING in back of the station for several hands-on training classes in FF II and FF III.
